A celebration of generations

Bertha Becker Spaun, left, was born in Sept. 4, 1886, the daughter of Peter and Louisa Gribling Becker. Bertha, married to Floyd Spaun, lived virtually her whole life in Atchison, Kansas, dying Feb. 14, 1962.

In this photo, which was taken on the occasion of her 50th wedding anniversary in January 1960, she was 74 years old.

At right are two of her grandchildren, Mary Lou Spaun and Robert R. Spaun.

The photo was taken at the Spaun family home, West Main Street, Atchison, Kansas.
