Where was New London's founder William Marshall Jamison buried?

Mike Egloff wrote to me asking about the abandoned New London Cemetery story and Lynne McGee Tutor's research.

He wrote: I am a direct descendent of William Marshall Jamison, the founder of New London, Mo. He died of Cholera in 1833 and we have never been able to determine where he was buried. I had heard that there was an old town cemetery but nobody knew of its location."

He wants to know if the “Abandoned New London Cemetery” in my article is the one he has heard about. "I wonder if there are any records that would show who was buried there? I have attached a picture that shows the location of the Jamison house in New London.

Any thoughts to share with Mike? montgomery.editor@yahoo.com
