Mules pulled this Budweiser wagon

Abe Toalson stands in front of a Budweiser beer wagon - pulled by mules instead of the famed Clydesdales - in the 400 block of Broadway.

Carey Toalson, who submitted this photo, dates this photo about 1953, based upon the movie playing at the Tom Sawyer Theater. Abe and his brother Roy, (who operated Abe's Bar and Grill along with Abe's wife, Nellie) are sons of Jasper Newton Toalson, who was a Hannibal baker.
