Byrne E. Bigger Long-time legal advocate

The first two pictures, from left, are Byrne E. Bigger, probate judge for 43 years. I believe the photo at right is Judge Bigger, too. He died in 1962 and is buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Judge Bigger was a member of the Missouri Bar association and a member of the Christian church. He was active in the Masonic organization and served as grand master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri in 1928.

Judge Bigger started in the legal profession in 1906. He was elected judge of the probate court in 1918 and assumed the bench Jan. 1, 1919.
