Signs of the times

Charles Hart painted the last sign that was used at Turner School, located on West Ely Road near the intersection with Veterans Road. When the school closed in 1968, he removed the sign and stored it in his workshop, where it still hangs today along with other signs painted by the Hannibal artist, who died in 1994.
