Temporary site for fire station

My brother, Becker Spaun, reminded me that this historic building in the 100 block of South Fourth Street served a special purpose during 1966 and 1967. The building was used as station one for the Hannibal Fire Department, while the old fire department building was being torn down and a new one built in its place.

Becker said that the firefighters put up chicken wire to designate the dorm room.
