Business site for many years

Rhonda Brown Hall told me that this building in the 200 block of Lyon Street, Hannibal, once served as the office for Brown's Transfer Co., her grandfather's (J.T. Brown) business. This morning I looked up a few city directories to see what else has occupied that space.

In 1922, Brown's Transfer was located in this block of Lyon.

In 1935, Valley Cab Company and Fifty Taxi Companty occupied the building at 208 Broadway.

In 1957, Yellow Cab Company was located at 208 Broadway.
