The Turner School picnic and fish fry was held Labor Day 1927 on the Boetjer farm on West Ely Road near Hannibal, Mo. There was a large attendance and all took part in the various games and contests. Harry Rudolph Boetjer and Ethel Boetjer hosted the event. CONTRIBUTED/SUE HART
