Finding a genealogy connection!

I'm so excited this morning; in a way that only genealogists can understand.

I just found out that a friend of mine is the great-great granddaughter of Virgil Evans, who I've been researching for inclusion in a book I'm writing about a Hannibal family. I have a good sized collection of information on Virgil, but I hadn't yet "traced him forward" to see who might be his descendant.

I've emailed my friend. Can't wait to see what might come of this connection.
