Drapers Block still standing on Broadway after 141 years

This sketch is from the 1875 Marion County Atlas, accessed through the Missouri Secretary of State's digital site. After studying the details, I realized that the buildings are still standing. The building to the right is 300 Broadway, on the north side. The building is vacant now, but in the early part of the 20th Century, the Hannibal Courier-Post moved into this building, where it remained until 1952. Next door, in the double building marked Brown Brothers and C.H. Yancey, is the Salvation Army Thrift Store. The building that is labled millinery used to house the Schafer Smoke House. The picture is labeled "Draper

s Block, built 1873.
