Hill and N Main.jpg

Mrs. Dulany Mahan and her family purchased this property on the northwest corner of Hill Street and North Main Street, Hannibal, and gave it to the city of Hannibal as a memorial to the late Dulany Mahan. The buildings were torn down and the area made into a park carrying out the Mark Twain theme. The picture shows the property as seen from Main Street. 1941 Hannibal newspaper clipping, Mary Lou Montgomery's collection.
