19th Century Ahrens Steam Pumper

Heather Gibson took this photo of a steam pumper at the Lincoln museum in Springfield, Ill.

The pumper was loaned to the Lincoln site by its owner, the Belle Plaine Iowa Volunteer Fire Department. It is similar to the pumper owned by the Springfield Fire Department in the 19th Century.
