Jack Herring and the Rhythm Swingsters

This Herring photo features Jack Herring and the Rhythm Swingsters. They performed every Thursday and Saturday at "The Owl" operated by George Graves. It was located seven miles south of Hannibal on U.S. 61. Admission to the dances was 25 cents per couple. Del Anderson, whose grandparents were friends and neighbors of the Herring family, contributed this photo.
